Created from first-hand experience with underage and adult club teams.
Story
Touchline IQ started with a simple coaching problem.
How do you drive better performance when the people leading the team are already short on time, short on staff, and trying to make sense of too much information in real time?
At club level, coaches are always chasing continuous improvement in both the team and the individual. The problem is that most groups are doing it with limited time, limited staff, and volunteers giving up evenings and weekends to keep the whole thing moving.
Touchline IQ grew out of that reality. It was created from first-hand experience of playing and coaching with club teams, where better information could improve decisions, but the tools on the sideline were often too light, too awkward, or simply not built for the way real coaching groups work.
The product direction was then shaped through interviews with managers, coaches, and players across football and the Gaelic games. The aim was not to build a flashy tech demo. It was to build something straightforward enough for busy clubs to use, while still giving the management team a better shared picture of performance.
"Built from real coaching experience, not from a tech company guessing what the sideline needs."
Touchline IQ origin
"Better communication between management and players, backed by real data, is the point of the platform."
Touchline IQ mission
Real data over guesswork
Capture what is actually happening in games and training so decisions can be backed by evidence instead of memory alone.
Communication that travels
Give the management team and the players a clearer shared picture instead of relying on scattered notes and fragmented conversations.
Practical for club teams
Keep the workflow simple enough for volunteer-led groups to set up, share, and use consistently over a full season.
